Then the text message came through ….
As I mentioned yesterday … I asked the caller to send a text message because I couldn’t hear. I was at the O2 Arena at the Andrew Reynolds Entrepreneur Boot Camp. I had just got back to my seat after a break. We had just finished listening to Chris Howard in the last set and where just about to listen to Tom Hau ….
Chris had taken us through a ‘closed eye exercise’, giving us the chance to think, to focus, on something we wanted to achieve. I had focused on building two very exciting new websites and thought what I really needed was to outsource the work, because ultimately I want to focus on my property investment business and sourcing for my clients. As much as I thought about websites – property kept popping into my mind 
I persisted after the exercise was finished we took a break – I chatted to some people I knew and then just as I returned to my seat I took my phone out and noticed it ringing – it was on silent obviously. I asked the caller to text and as the message came through I could not believe my eyes … only 20 minutes earlier I had been listening to Chris tell my unconscious mind that I had all the resources I needed to be successful, that I would make all the connections I needed… now the text before me was asking for details of my portfolio development service.
My friend Sukh – had mentioned me to another friend and they now wanted to find out more about how I could help them !!! I was amazed (I don’t know why because I already know that NLP, hypnosis and the power of the mind are powerful tools!). As I listened to Tom – more ideas developed in mind and helped me shape the website concepts I was creating. As we took another break I decided to go upstairs and guess what, I bumped into more friends.
This time the connection brought with it a business opportunity … an opportunity to supply properties to the cash rich clients of a friend how smiley am I ? Within 2 hours – two property related connections will bring me income and sustained business that means I will now have the resources to out source the development of the websites.
Why did this happen to me? How did I make it happen? I played full out when Chris asked (I have to say I always do …) I closed my eyes when asked – I breathed in time with him when asked, I believed it would work … why? because I know my mind does know the difference between reality and imagination. I have seen Christopher Howard twice. The experience is amazing and I have also had the opportunity to go to other events he has promoted. I have had the fortune in life to realise that ordinary people like myself can access the extraordinary people who are able to lift us to new levels. That access is available by buying a motivational book a month (and reading it) and attending seminars and acting on the notes we make. I find myself constantly growing thanks to the many inspirational people who are holding out their hands to us.
Hi Vicki, as you are quite rightly point out, Chris Howard’s mindset needs to be heard to ensure potential clarity is understood; then implemented. Sadly though, I have to agree on how true your perspective will be on attendees who won’t actually do a damn thing. Lets not dwell on that, it goes back to the saying ‘you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink!’ I would absolutely agree on the actual quality of the ‘experts’, it was refreshing to actually hear people put forward techniques, which they are actually using to create prosperity, wealth; freedom – isn’t this our what we are striving to achieve?
