Media coverage matters - talent doesn't
This may seem like a strange thing to blog about on a PropertyMermaid blog – but I feel really strongly …. I have never bothered with “X Factor- Strictly Come” waste of time telly, what I discovered this year is a couple of things – one I work really hard and sometimes brain numbing TV is a great way to change the pace of the day, to relax and my family really enjoy it, it is something we can share together. Second – even better – is Sky+ which means we can skip through to the singing and comments and watch the whole program in under an hour ….

I think because we sometimes shovel more than one Smartie in at a time lots of people don’t know that orange Smarties are filled with orange flavoured chocolate. When I was younger I used to eat them one at a time to make them last, taking each sweet and sucking off the coating then prying the case open with my tongue while being careful not to break it (who am I kidding – I still do it). That’s how I discovered the orange ones tasted of orange.

Grr! I have been feeling so frustrated! I can see things so clearly, I understand the business opportunity, I know where the profit is, I know what the risk is. I also have done my research and I understand the immediate business environment I am working in and I have looked at the wider implications of the economic environment. Well I am no economist but I believe that the availability of credit (or lack of it) is what is causing the issue in the UK right now and I can only assume globally.

Scuba diving is like investing in property, especially if you are on a dive cruise, you will need exceptional communications, manage your resources (kit, time and energy) and the ability to adapt to change. This is one of a number blogs on one of my favourite subjects, scuba diving.
