Four brained octopus?? Is that a syndrome or a bonus?

I have had just the funniest series of email chats with Georgina Lester about being busy. We have been “trying” to meet up to talk about social media. I have been out speaking at property events and busy writing my new book and Georgina has been busy developing her new social media business. Georgina wrote that she had had to come to terms with not being a four brained octopus with enough fingers to match. Read More

Complaining or just telling it how it is?

After last week’s article on gratitude and saying thank you – it seems ironic that this week I might be seen to be complaining. Maybe everyone is having a summer customer service survey, maybe it’s the impact of the recession getting everyone to look more closely at the service they offer? Read More

Looking for the small stuff

I love underwater photography, I am not sure what makes it so exciting, is it the new creatures you discover? the challenge of taking a good shot while floating, or resisting a current at depths up to 90 feet below the surface? is it the memories it brings back? Read More

A loud Economics rant – cover your eyes :)

Well I am no economist but I believe that the availability of credit (or lack of it) is what is causing the issue in the UK right now and I can only assume globally.

I think that in UK, Europe and USA, we have a problem caused by the greed of the past. Read More

Communication matters – just ask

Isn’t it strange how important communication is? I don’t just mean the action of communicating, talking or writing, I mean the act, the way the message is delivered. I had two such startlingly different experiences in the space of fives hours that I thought I really must share it with you. Read More
