Best Laid Plans ….

Table Mountain - its behind youFor those of you that know me – you will know how much I like to plan, even great spontaneity needs a plan :) my next favourite activity is delegation. One thing you can definitely guarantee about a plan is that it needs to be flexible and to be updated – as you can imagine I planned our South African Adventure to cram as many activities in as possible and that is exactly how the first two weeks of the holiday worked. We have had loads of fun, made new friends, worshipped the sun and spotted wild animals galore on various safaris. Then the volcano erupted …….. Read the rest of this entry

It feels like pushing string!

Grr! I have been feeling so frustrated! I can see things so clearly, I understand the business opportunity, I know where the profit is, I know what the risk is. I set the programme as normal (or so I thought) and set off. The machine gradually got faster and then too fast! I had to reduce the speed – that was odd – had I suddenly become incredibly unfit in a week? Then Darren my personal trainer  pointed out that the settings between Miles and Kilometers had been changed – whew! I thought it was me :) Read the rest of this entry
