Last Sunday I went to see Rob and Mark from Progressive Property. They were running one of their MasterMind special events in Peterborough. I wanted to video them as contributors to my forthcoming book Using Other People’s Money – How to Invest in Property. (Very excited it has just gone to the publisher – watch out  for opportunity to pre-register for a copy). Anyway ….The plan was to travel from central London (where I had been at a Tigrent Lease Option course with Sean Thomson – talking about how coaching really can help you ‘live the dream’).

All I had to do was get on the A1 and stay there – easy – or so you would think. ….. Watch out here comes the metaphor ….. just like in life, business, finance or property … all you have to do is get on the right path and stay there.  First thing I would like to point out is that the entrance to the A1 at Henleys Corner looks just like a slip road – not really an entrance to a main road. (Metaphor … sometimes the start – our paths do not look significant). In fact I drove straight past and had to turn round and come back (Metaphor … “do I really need to say” haa haa). Just like my own life in property investing – I came close to becomimg an investor at least twice before BUT missed the turning.

Once I actually made on the right path ooohps I mean road … I still managed to fall off. I was at a roundabout – everything was fine – next minute I am bombing down the A41!!! How did that happen? Again I had to turn round and correct my ‘wrong turn’ [Insert your own metaphor here].  Can you believe it! It took me two and a half hours – good job I took the direct route home (only hour and a half).

Had a great day with Rob and Mark – recorded two brilliant interviews which are with the editor now and will be part of the amazing content that accompanies the book. Rob and Mark very kindly had invited me to be interviewed for the forum – hope you get a chance to watch it soon.
