Background
To summarise … I am The Property Mermaid! What?… you might ask
As a child I always wanted to be Jacques Cousteau. I started Scuba Diving when I was just 17 years old, Chertsey Lock … those were the days – zero visibility and cold water. I soon realised the Red Sea was where I was born to dive and that has really shaped the last decade. I took up underwater photography, about 2 years ago – check out my Facebook page to see my photo albums. And from that point on the burning questions were how many holidays could I fit it in a year, and where could we dive next?

Alongside my passion for scuba diving I have always had a love for property. When I really think about it I first became involved in property investment during the mid 80’s just as the property crash started. I was a mortgage administration manager and remember lenders offering five times joint salary including un-guaranteed overtime so that first time buyers could afford to buy – maybe things don’t change that much – we just forget

In 2004, Whilst still employed in education and business strategy, I started to invest in property and that was the start of my fantastic journey into property, investments, passive income and certainly during the climbing property market of the last couple of years, lots of money. My success path has been charmed, as I had the right help from the right person who was a property sourcer. I was advised well and I bought wisely, I haven’t ever struggled with negative cash flow or void periods.
By the end of 2006 I decided that I would give up working as a Consultant – actually I was unemployed and didn’t realise it! I used some of my passive income to take a year off. I scuba dived and participated in a huge amount of personal development during that year and ended 2007 as a trained Master NLP Practioner. In 2008 my focus was pulled back full time into property investment. In the last three years I have clocked up over 3,500 hours of training, networking, speaking and personal development in the property world, I am an accredited landlord through the LLAS, a member of the NLA and regular visitor at a number of network and training events. (Check out the people I recommend). Over the last couple of years I have become a regularly speaker at a number of property events.
I now offer sourcing, support and mentoring to those wishing to simply want to invest their money and get a great return on their investment, through to those needing support and mentoring so that they can learn to identify great deals and manage well presented buy to let properties.
