Am I prejudice?

Have you ever done business with someone and for whatever reason it has not worked out and then seen them advertising their services again and feel cross?

I have just seen the man that was promoting “new build off plans flats in Estonia”, followed by new build property in Cyprus – now promoting deals in the Bahamas!

While the deals he offered where not fraudulent or criminal – they certainly did not stack up as a good investment – so at best ...

My book sent someone to Clapham!

I got a brilliant testimonial last week from a lady who bought my book after one of my speaking engagements. She wrote to “complain” that she became so engrossed in reading my book that she got on the wrong train to London. 

Instead of boarding a train to Euston (where her meeting was), she boarded a train that was going to the south coast. Fortunately, her internal body clock told her that she had been on the train too ...

There is a cost to doing business

I don’t mean emotional or time related – but of course that is very relevant – I mean actual cost of doing business in terms of pounds. I was recently invited to give webinar where I explained that depending on why you are in business there are a number of specific levels of income that you need.

Who do you look like?

I was sitting enjoying some rare sun the other morning when three people worked past. I immediately recognised them as “horsey” people, by that I mean their clothes told me they liked horses, owned horses, or had just been riding. 

We all wear uniforms of one sort or another, so who do you look like? Are you a horsey person, a sporty person, a surfer, a dog person, a business person, a builder or a student?
