Do you gobble or do you chew?

Sorry to do another blog about the kittens but really there is so much to learn from observing interactions and the explorations of others (humans or animals). I treated the kittens to half a king prawn this afternoon as I made my lunch – that was chaos.

I cut a prawn in half and then in half again – catching their attention was not difficult and I threw/ placed the two pieces on opposite sides of the room.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing

I wrote a blog about time travel and the lessons we can potentially learn and it made me realise that some people would go back in time not so much to learn from a lesson but to change the actual action or activity that caused the learning.

I really do know that some lessons are painful; my former husband’s beating of my father, my divorce, my daughter’s loss of a parent (through that divorce). But ...

Does time matter?

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to own a time machine – to be able to travel back and forwards at will. I have been fascinated by the concept since I saw the 1950/60’s movie The Time Machine.

I vividly remember the clip when the doctor entered the machine and watched as walls around him dissolved and rebuilt as time raced forward.

Payday loan scandal

Pay day loans and …. exorbitant cost of lending is it right?

I notice the small print on things whether I am shopping for bargains in my supermarket or reading adverts on the Tube or in the press.

What do you think of these interest rates?

It might be legal but is it morally right?
