A new way of thinking

How safe is your money?

A friend of, a friend of mine had read the Sun newspaper (yes really) last week and commented on a story about the most recent Euro-Lottery winner. The report said that if they were to put their money in the bank – all £101 million of it, it would not be guaranteed under the banking scheme.

Eurozone – phew?

So is that it …. Greece’s debt is written down by 50% and everything is okay?

I was talking with friend’s Dinah and Hannah Liversidge and others at Hannah’s pre-Accelerator meeting, about how we would solve this problem.

The consensus was that if the banks accepted “an offer on the debt” much the way factoring companies do, then the situation could be eased. Long lasting on going pressure on Greece would simply result in a mass exodus of all mobile ...

Mind the scissors

I am very blessed with a mop of naturally curly hair and like all things in life it comes with its own challenges. The curls are springy until they reach a certain length. At this point the weight of the “hanging” hair applies enough drag that the tension in the curl gives and the hair straightens ever so slightly.

This can literally happen overnight – one day I will be able to see the next day my hair appears over half ...

Friends and money don’t mix

I keep bumping into this issue. Last night I couldn’t sleep for these thoughts rattling around in my head. I even got up and made a note on paper, so I could remember to think about it this morning rather than stay awake (that finally worked and I did sleep!)
